Saturday 3rd December - Trinity Xmas Party, Forest Row

Vegas Nights made a triumphant return to Freshfield Hall, Forest Row after 1 year's abscence to entertain at the Trinity Xmas Party.

Joined by Mark and Dave of Polestar with their amazing guitar playing and tight harmonies the evening was a great success. Vegas Nights added some Christmas spirit singing some classic Christmas tunes along with their usual repertoire.

Saturday 12th October - Cue Music, Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead

Vegas Nights were thrilled to be returning home to the Chequer Mead stage, the place it all started!

Vegas Nights were just one of the groups entertaining at the Cue music event celebrating Chequer Meads 15th Birthday. Opening the second half with fantastic dancers 'LA Tap' Vegas Nights showed off their usual repertoire including new song 'Let the Good Times Roll by Ray Charles'

Happy 15th Birthday Chequer Mead may there be plenty more to come!


Saturday 29th October - Joan's 90th Birthday

Vegas Nights made a comeback to the ASS Club (Formerly the Royal British Legion) in Horley for Joan's 90th Birthday!

In their usual style Vegas Nights set the tone of the evening with their ever growing repertoire of songs from Rat Pack to Take That! A fantastic evening of singing and dancing finishing off in style with Frank Sinatra classic 'My Way'

Many happy returns to Joan and we hope you enjoyed the evening.


Saturday 15th October - Royal British Legion, East Grinstead

A first for Vegas Nights as they were invited to perform at the East Grinstead Royal British Legion.

Singing signature tunes and getting all the members/guests up on their feet Vegas Nights had a whale of a time entertaining at the club and hope to return in the near future!

Saturday 1st October - Dorset Arms, East Grinstead

The Dorset Arms in East Grinstead was heaving with guests as Vegas Nights returned again to the historic watering hole!

Kicking off with rat pack classics, Vegas Nights didn't look back as they moved to the ever growing 2nd half set list, including new songs 'You to me are Everything by The Real Thing' and Amarillo by Tony Christie'

Saturday 24th September - Vimy Twinings



The Vimy Twinings was a delightful evening with fine cuisine, speeches and entertainment.

Vegas Nights had a challenge on their hands as the venue was fitted with a noise meter which kept flashing amber in the quietist of songs. With the energetic and LOUD second half Vegas Nights managed to turn the meter red which caused the power to short circuit for a few seconds! Despite this Vegas Nights carried on entertaining the guests!

A special occasion for Vegas Nights as it marked their 50th gig!


Saturday 17th September - Horley Festival

Vegas Nights were back in the Horley High Street once again for another fantastic event.

Bringing in the residents and guests with their signature tunes Vegas Nights had the m all singing and dancing and having a good time!

Sunday 11th September - Meridian Picnic in the Park

Vegas Nights were live on Meridian FM at the Picnic in the Park event held at the Meridian Hall, East Court.

Vegas Nights minus Del (who was listening in from sunny Spain!) sang a set of classic Rat Pack songs. The event was a music extravaganza which included 4 other bands.

Saturday 3rd September - Helen's 50th Birthday

Helen's 50th birthday was celebrated in style at the wonderful Plough and Furrow Inn, Smallfield.

Entertaining with diverse set lists Vegas Nights set the mood of the evening and never looked back! Adding new songs All Night Long by Lionel Ritchie, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, All I do is Dream of you by Michael Buble and Jackson 5 hit I Want you back.

Saturday 27th August - Chartham Park Social Evening

The wonderful Chartham Park Golf Club, East Grinstead hosted a wonderful evening for members and guests including entertainment, fully stocked bar and light buffet.

Overlooking the wonderful golf course Vegas Nights belted out classic songs including new additions: Easy by Lionel Ritchie, Wichita Lineman by Glenn Campbell and Jackie Wilson’s Sweetest Feeling.

Friday 12th August - Nikki & Joel's Wedding Reception

The very posh Pavilion Suite at the Lingfield Racecourse was the venue for Nikki & Joel's Wedding reception.

Vegas Nights entertained with a classic Rat Pack set that got the guests up on their feet and dancing the night away!

Saturday 9th July - Alzheimer's Society & Rockinghorse Charity Dinner

The Alzheimer's Society & Rockinghorse Charity Dinner was a delightful event held at Felbridge Copse in a stunningly decorated marquee. Raising £13'000 the event was a raging success.

The evening boasted a variety of entertainment including celebrity Christopher Biggins as auctioneer for the evening, spectacular band Jazz-on-easy, Vegas Nights, a DJ and a raffle.

Saturday 11th June - Dels Birthday Bash!

Oh what a night . . . ! Vegas nights own Del celebrated his 60th birthday in spectacular fashion! With wall to wall party goers it was surely a night to remember!

The birthday boy joined his band mates and sang an incredible set to a very appreciative audience!

Sunday 5th June - Chamber of commerce BBQ

The chamber of commerce BBQ held at the Rosemead guest house was plagued by downfalls of rain, despite the rain this did not stop the guests enjoying delicious barbecue and great entertainment from Vegas Nights.

Singing for their supper Vegas Nights sang two sets, which included new number 'Cherish' by kool and the Gang.

Thursday may 26th - CJ's Music Night

Vegas Nights were on hand to close out the evening of music held at trendy cafe/bar CJ's in East Grinstead.

Sunday 22nd May – Rita’s 80th Birthday

Vegas Nights were on form as guests were celebrating Rita’s 80th Birthday at the wonderful Meridian Hall, East Grinstead.

Singing all the classics Vegas Nights pulled out all the stops to ensure that Rita had a birthday to remember. Songs included a very heart-felt rendition of My Way as well as new song ‘By the Time I Get to Phoenix by Glen Campbell.

Held at the Royal Ashdown Golf Club, Forest Row. Vegas Nights sang their usual Rat Pack classics leaving the audience asking for more and even signing autographs!

Saturday 14th May – Horley Lions Charter Evening

Vegas Nights Live were the entertainment for The Horley Lions as they celebrated their 47th Annual Charter evening.

Held at the Mercure Hotel, Gatwick the event was a sophisticated evening of Dinner, speeches and awards followed by two fantastic sets sung by Vegas Nights. New songs included a big band version of Toy Story classic ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me' and Michael Buble’s No. 1 hit ‘Everything’.

East Grinstead Lions Mayfair - Monday 2nd May

A first for Vegas Nights Live, performing at the historic East Grinstead Lions annual Mayfair.

Equipped with the most diverse set-list including new song ‘December’63’ and new outfits, Vegas Nights Live entertained in their hometown at what was a fabulous event.

After entertaining the crowds with their signature songs Vegas Nights were interviewed by Meridian FM, so watch out folks Vegas Nights are taking over the airwaves!


Britain's Got Talent - Saturday 23rd April

Britain’s Got Talent 2011 – Vegas Nights were shown for not one, but two seconds on the prime time talent contest.

Vegas Nights originally selected to audition last December, didn’t make it through the audition stage, but were chosen to have their video added to the YouTube auditions channel.

St. Georges Day, Horley - Saturday 23rd April

St. Georges Day celebrations were scorching as Vegas Nights Live were invited back to the annual event hosted by Horley Town Council/Chamber of Commerce.

Singing in the sunshine Vegas Nights had everyone singing and dancing including a lady who had her leg in a cast and another lady who had just had a knee replacement! (We would like to remind you that we do indeed have public Liability!).

Mayor's Charitable Curry Evening - Saturday 19th March

Vegas Nights were pleased to be invited back to perform at the 'Mayors Charitable Curry Evening'the place that really kicked things off for Vegas Nights Live.

Horley Town Mayor, Councillor Simon Marshall, organised the event of which the proceeds went to his two chosen charities, The Brambles Respite Care Centre and St Catherine's Hospice.

Armed with a new repertoire of songs including a Beatles Medley and Tight Fit classic 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' a great time was had by all!


Valentines Night @ The Swan - Sunday 13th February

Vegas Nights played to a packed crowd at the Swan on the eve of Valentines Day.

Performing all the classics Vegas Nights were also joined by Mark and Dave Shergold who sang and played guitar performing classics such as Norwegian Wood, Alright Now and Apache as well as singing backing vocals for Vegas Nights.

Bill's 80th Birthday Party - Saturday 5th February

Copthorne Golf Club was the setting to celebrate Bill's 80th Birthday.

A very suave sophisticated crowd were treated to Rat Pack classics and a mixture of pop/rock songs which led one lady to believe that, when we performed Take That's - "The Flood" that we had finished for the evening and the CD was being played!

Horley Christmas Market - Wednesday 22nd December

Vegas Nights Rob and Del (minus Deano) braved the cold weather to once again entertain the Horley Market crowd, for the final market of 2010.

Vegas Nights crooned their way through a repertoire that included a few classic Christmas numbers. Although doing what they do best, disaster struck as 30seconds into the third set the generator packed up leaving the Horley market wanting more!

Certain to return to the Horley Market in 2011 we would like to thank Alan Jones and the Horley Town Council/residents for a fantastic year Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!




The Bridge Bar, East Grinstead - Saturday 11th December


Getting into the Christmas spirit Vegas Nights returned to The Bridge Bar, East Grinstead to entertain the crowds and create some goodwill!

Wearing flashing Christmas hats Vegas Nights entwined Rat Pack classics and pop/rock standards with 'cheesy' Christmas songs! (Something for everyone!)

Horley Market - "Super Saturday Part 4" - Saturday 27th November

Vegas Nights returned to the Horley Saturday market to perform to the shoppers and residents.

Braving the icy cold temperatures Vegas Nights belted out their signature tunes with the addition of Barry Manilow's 'It's a Miracle' and Oasis hit 'Wonderwall'.

Showtime @ the Harlequin, Redhill - Friday 26th November


A first for Vegas Nights as they got to do their thing on the wonderful stage of the Harlequin Theatre. Opening the second half Vegas Nights were showered with cheers and left the audience wanting more!

The evening which headlined the amazing Millennium Concert Band was in aid of Brambles Respite Care Centre for people with Multiple Sclerosis. The evening was a tribute to Music and Song of Stage and Screen

Forest Players Present - Vegas Nights Live, 18/19/20th November


Forest Players and Vegas Nights Live joined forces to create a spectacular cabaret evening which boasted Singers, Live musicians and a sparkling Pole Dance performance.

Held at the Freshfield Hall, Forest Row the three night run included special guest performances from Pole Dancer Nikki Fenton, vocalists Harriet Pittman and Sally Hannam and Musicians Dave and Mark Shergold.

The cabaret had a special Christmas theme on the last night and included a delicious three course meal which was accompanied by Christmas songs in the second half by the performers.

The Bridge Bar, East Grinstead - Thursday 11th November

Vegas Nights made a triumphant return to the Bridge Bar this time equipped with new microphones, mic stands and a new monitor.

Regulars, guests and friends were on form as they danced and sang their hearts out to the ever growing repertoire of songs which boasted Rob and Dels new number 'Shame' by Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow.

Ray's 40th Birthday Party - Saturday 23rd October


Ray's 40th Birthday party was an evening of fine cuisine and quality entertainment! With guests arriving from up North the party held at the Horley Constitutional Club's Centenary Lounge was certainly a night to remember (and not just for the underwear Ray was wearing!).

It was also a first for Vegas Nights in that the dance floor filled up with couples slow dancing to Frank Sinatra hit 'Very Good Year' something that has never happened before!

Horley Market - "Super Saturday Part 3" - Saturday 23rd October

Drama filled the air as Vegas Nights played two sets at the Horley Saturday Market which was hosted as not only another 'Super Saturday' but also combined with a Farmers Market.

Drama erupted as the generator cut out just as Vegas Nights were about to finish the first set! Not deterred Horley Councillor Jack fixed the problem and Vegas Nights were under way singing their hits! Also Vegas Nights tried to incorporate subliminal messages in their lyrics promoting fabulous sausage stall 'The Giggly Pig Company'

John and Jackie Fisher's 40h Anniversary - Saturday 16th October


Vegas Nights were on hand to Do their thing at John and Jackie's surprise wedding anniversary party. The evening was a sophisticated gathering which boasted fine cuisine, accomplished pianist Mark Reeves and of course Vegas Nights.

The function was held at Ifield Community Centre where the Millennium Concert Band rehearses (which John is a member).

The Bridge Bar, East Grinstead - Wednesday 6th October

Vegas Nights rocked the foundations at The Bridge Bar on Wednesday night with the addition of a Blues Brothers Medley and Sinatra classic 'Come Fly With Me' to add to the ever growing repertoire of songs.

Formerly known as Ja Ja Bar, The Bridge Bar is under new ownership. With a 30k refurbishment and 10k sound system/dance floor, live DJ's and excellent range of drinks, The Bridge Bar is a nightspot not to be missed.

Scarecrow Festival, Horley - Saturday 25th September


Horley residents and guests were treated to a variety of entertainment at the Scarecrow Festival. Vegas Nights had an eventful day performing to the heart warming crowd and managing to persuade royalty to join the New York, New York kick line!

Yes professional Queen Elizabeth look-a-like Elizabeth Richard (who has worked with Simon Cowell, Sir Elton John, Noel Edmonds and Michael Buble to name a few!) posed for photos and was a part of the parade earlier in the day.

Other attractions included Army Cadets, Line Dancers, Bands, Games, Stalls and a selection of fine foods.

Brambles Respite Care Centre, Horley - Tuesday 21st September


Vegas Nights were honoured to perform at the Brambles Respite Care Centre, Horley. Guests and staff were treated to an hour of Rat Pack classics and enjoyed themselves so much that encores were demanded!

The Respite Care Centre provides high quality care for people affected by multiple sclerosis in a warm friendly and caring environment, offering support and motivation and promoting each person's individuality, privacy, dignity, choice and rights. For more information please click here

Constitutional Club, Horley - Friday 17th September

Vegas Nights @ The Dorset Arms, East Grinstead - 27th August


The Dorset Arms, East Grinstead was the place to be on Friday 27th August as Vegas Nights equipped with their new PA system had the whole place buzzing with excitement singing their signature tunes.

Special mention to the 'Vegas Girls' who came down to show their support wearing their 'I LOVE VEGAS NIGHTS' t-shirts and throwing lingerie where appropriate!!!

Volunteers Party, Chequer Mead - Tuesday 24th August


A very worthwhile event was put together to pay thanks to the volunteers of the Chequer Mead Theatre. Without the volunteers there would be no theatre, so Vegas Nights Live were privileged to perform for such a worthy audience.

Pimms and Lemonade followed by scones and tea/coffee were on the menu as the guests enjoyed the music (thanks to Jon/Will for sound equipment).

Lewis's Retirement Party - Sunday 22nd August


Lewis's retirement party was an event to remember as Vegas Nights performed under a marquee in the garden. The weather was not forgiving gradually getting more wet until it was pouring down. After relocating equipment to the main marquee Ally, Nickie, Patti, Stevie and co came out wearing 'I LOVE VEGAS NIGHTS LIVE' t-shirts! They continued to dance and sing in the pouring rain having the time of their lives!

LA Fitness, Summertime Ball - Saturday 17th July

The LA Fitness Summertime Ball went off without a hitch as Vegas Nights Live performed three very different 45 minute sets including new songs by Madness, Michael Jackson, Boyzone and Glen Campbell.

The members/guests got into the spirit wearing grass skirts, coconuts, Hawaiian shirts and bikinis (mostly the men were wearing coconuts!) And a great time was had by all!

The Saturday market was swinging once again as Vegas Nights performed in the beautiful sunshine. Hits such as, Lady is a Tramp, Mack the Knife, It Must be Love and a Drifters Medley had Horley residents tapping their feet and in some cases dancing!

The event is held to increase visitor numbers and boost market stall trade. The market is held in the High Street Car Park, off Consort Way East.

Vegas Nights had an unforgettable time performing at Roy's 80th birthday party, which was held at the Royal British Legion, Horley.

Search for a Star GALA - Saturday 8th May


Search for a Star took a break this year from its usual format and celebrated with an evening of songs from stage and screen.

Vegas Nights owned the stage with a very fun version of 'You Make Me Feel So Young'. Performing solo Robin sang 'Guys and Dolls' classic 'Luck Be a Lady'. Derek crooned 'If I Could Write a Book' from Pal Joey and 'Have You Met Miss Jones'. Dean sang timeless classic 'Fly Me to the Moon'.

St. Georges Day Parade, Horley - Saturday 24th April

The sun was shinning and the St. Georges Day spirit was high as Vegas Nights Live performed two twenty minute sets out in the open on Victoria St.

Other acts included a Samba Band, Britannia Choir, Morris Dancers and not to forget a parade through the town centre.

The St George's Day Fair event helps create a community atmosphere for the town centre and its shops. Special thanks to Peter von Staerck who organised the event and the Horley community for making it a St. Georges Day to remember.




Horley Market - "Super Saturday" - Saturday 3rd April


The Saturday Market which is held weekly in the High Street Car Park, off Consort Way East, hosted a "Super Saturday" event on Easter Saturday, 3 April 2010, from 9.00am until 2.00pm.

Entertainment was provided by "Vegas Nights Live" and "Brambles Amateur Theatrical Society". The event was held to increase visitor numbers and boost market stall trade.

Horley Town Mayor, Councillor Simon Marshall, organised the event of which the proceeds went to his two chosen charities, The Brambles Respite Care Centre and St Catherine's Hospice.

Those who attended were able to enjoy the delights of delicious Indian cuisine with entertainment by Brambles Amateur Theatrical Society and Vegas Nights Live. There was also an auction and raffle on the night.
